Custom web design is for those projects that require something a little bit different.
Whilst all of our web design work is custom-built for each project, we use the term custom web design to encapsulate those projects that are not basic and are not web shops. Custom web design projects take an extra level of understanding as they quite often have very exact requirements and functionality, and so require more thought at the early stages.
The most important part of undertaking a custom web design project is understanding what the purpose is and what's required to get there. At first, we will most probably ask you to describe your plans in very simplistic, functional terms, such as 'we want to rent out DVDs on a subscription-based service'. This will give us an overview of what you are looking to achieve with your website. It is very important that we understand what you need.
We will, undoubtedly, have questions for you and, quite often, we will raise issues that maybe you hadn't thought of. The goal at this early stage is to get a very rough guideline of what functionality your website will require. We will try to get as much information as we can - enough for us to give you a ballpark estimate for your project.
As always, you will talk directly with the developer who will be working on your website - no salesmen, just developers.
Depending on the size of your request, it's normally worthwhile for us to meet with you prior to producing a final quote. This isn't always necessary, but it's good for both parties to sit down and discuss the website in a moderate level of detail. Once we have been over this, we can proceed with creating your custom web design quote.
If you would like a custom web design quote, please contact us to discuss further by either online form or telephone.
