Hivis.net is a successful retailer of high visibility workwear, such as jackets and trousers. Building their online business up using an off-the-shelf solution, they felt their future plans needed something more advanced and flexible than what they currently had.

Looking through their existing website identified a number of areas that could be improved upon immediately, most notably browsing the catalogue, payments and administrators' order management. Also in need of an overhaul was the procedure for ordering customised printing on various parts of most items they sold. Previously, this was a labourious task and was off-putting for many customers. As part of our work, we simplified the process for the customer, whilst making the system more flexible and powerful for administrators.

Finally, we were required to maximise the search rankings of the website. This was done using tried and tested techniques, such as URL-rewriting, fully-formed HTML and CSS-based tableless layouts.
